Now Foods Silymarin (Silybum marianum) is also known as Milk Thistle.  Now Foods Silymarin is an herb that is well-documented in early traditional herbal medicine. Studies abroad and in the U.S. have indicated that constituents in Now Foods Silymarin may help to support healthy liver function. This seal certifies that the manufacturer of this product uses quality systems and procedures that comply with NNFA’s Dietary Supplement GMP standards. The quality of individual ingredients, however, has not been certified.
